Holidays Around the World

Leading up to winter break, our class worked with Mrs. Raider's class to learn about how other cultures and countries celebrate the holidays.  Students worked in teams to research how the holidays are celebrated in another country, and then compared and contrasted it to holidays in the United States.

Using close reading to research holidays in the United States and their assigned country...

Teams then collaborated to create a Venn Diagram poster comparing and contrasting the two cultures / countries in preparation to present their learning...
